Mines Rescue site manager David Connell has just completed the seven week program, and says at first, he was hesitant.
“I am so glad I did it as not only have I established a better and healthier body image for my daughters, but we have a better family unit,” he said.
With three daughters, aged seven, five and two, David’s children are at impressionable ages and one of the biggest differences he attributes to the program’s success is that the battle at the dinner table is over.
David’s talks more about his experience with the Healthy Dads, Healthy Kids program in an article which appeared in the Upper Hunter newspaper, theSingleton Argus.
